Alcohol and Adolescence: SHAAP Parliamentary Reception

Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems – Alcohol and Adolescence
Committee Room 3, Scottish Parliament
5th November 2013 17:30 – 20:00

Scottish Health Action on Alcohol Problems (SHAAP) invites you to attend this important event, sponsored by Malcolm Chisholm (MSP), Nanette Milne (MSP) and Aileen McLeod (MSP).

In September 2013, SHAAP hosted an expert workshop to examine the evidence that alcohol has a unique effect on the developing brain in adolescence and to consider the implications for health promotion and policy. Following this, we have published a summary of key findings.

Join us on the 5th November to discuss the findings of the report, consider the implications for young people, carers and all those who work with and support young people

We anticipate a stimulating evening of debate. Refreshments available.

Please RSVP to Anne-Marie (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) by 30th October 2013. Places are limited so please reply as soon as possible to reserve a place.
